The Laser Place (also known as Queens Laser and Electrolysis Hair Removal, LLC) was formed in 2003. Our goal is to make the luxury of permanent hair removal affordable for all in a comfortable, friendly environment.

At the Laser Place we have two of my favorite medical grade laser systems.  Our choice was based on personal use with amazing results many years ago which have provided me with long lasting results &  extensive research and laser awards.  I always say, "If I am not sure it works, I won't use or sell it".

Both Queens and Long Island Laser Place locations love Cynosure’s Apogee Elite, which contains dual mode (755 nm Alexandrite laser and a high powered 1064 nm Nd:YAG) laser systems allowing us to safely and effectively treat different types and colors of hair and skin. It is safe and effective on all skin tones. 20+ years later after using this system on myself, I'm virtually hair-free and don't even own a razor! So needless to say this laser is one of my favorites.

Cutera Coolglide YAG Laser is available at our Queens, NY Location.  The CoolGlide’s reputation won it the Aesthetic Trend and Technologies Award for being The Most Diverse Aesthetic Laser, Best Hair Removal Laser for Dark Skin Types, and Most Diverse Hair Removal All Skin Types. This high performing, medical grade laser allows us to treat men and women with all skin types, even in the summer.

Affordability, efficiency, and client comfort are essential to the success of our company. In November 2010, we added the prestigious Zimmer Chiller as an add on to Cutera's system in order to provide extra cooling and make the process of laser hair removal much more comfortable for our patients. The Zimmer Cooling system won the Editor’s Choice Award for being the Best Stand Alone Epidermal Cooling Device. To our knowledge, we are the only center in New York to provide the superior performance of Cutera’s Coolglide combined with the Zimmer Chiller.

Initially, The Laser Place was an individually ran business, providing only electrolysis and laser hair removal. However, thanks to the loyalty of our clientele and the professionalism of our staff, we have been fortunate enough to expand our facility and offer other facial services such as Laser Genesis Skin Rejuvenation, Microdermabrasion, and a variety of Facials. We believe that for some, a combination skin treatment is essential in obtaining maximum results. Having all of your skin care treatments under one roof allows us to know your individual skin and your skin’s history enabling us to provide optimum results safely. We hope The Laser Place becomes a one-stop shop for all your skincare needs. Our staff consists of Certified Laser Professionals & Estheticians professionally trained and experienced in methods of skincare/hair removal. They are knowledgeable in the various skin types and are able to provide clients with a personalized skin care regimen. They are able to evaluate each client that comes in for hair removal and give them their expert advice on which method of hair removal will work best for them. We offer all this, with excellent, friendly service while still being able to be one of the most affordable laser centers in New York City.
